Near Düsseldorf, this is probably one of the greatest Christmas markets of the Ruhr area. Enjoy the 135 brightly decorated stalls, 20m high Christmas tree, daily festive entertainment and a large covered shopping centre with over 200 shops.

Approx. 5hrs from Calais to Düsseldorf by coach

Day 1:
AM. Travel to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais. Arrive hotel in the Düsseldorf area in time for dinner.

Day 2:
AM. Visit the Oberhausen Christmas market, and enjoy a programme of festive entertainment including glassblowing, wood carving, and a toboggan-run (full activities details available later in the year). A traditional German market, with a marvellous selection of handicrafts and local festive produce.

Day 3:
AM. Depart after breakfast for Calais and the ferry crossing to Dover. Return to school during the early evening.
